The Network for Open Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa (NOTES) aims to promote collaborative teacher education through the co-creation, adaptation, and use of open educational resources (OER), supported by digital technologies and a community of practice.
The pre-conference workshop on Openness in Teacher Education brought together representatives from existing and prospective partner institutions to advance the NOTES initiative, ensuring that institutional commitments to the network of practice translate into strategies, research and partnerships for effective teacher development with OER.
